We came together to form the Not In Our Name (NION) network in Toronto, Ontario, during the summer of 2006, in solidarity with the people of Lebanon and Palestine against Israel’s wars and in opposition to the complicity of the Canadian government with Israel’s criminal actions.
Who are we? Not In Our Name (NION): Jewish Voices Opposing Zionism. We are also affiliate members of Independent Jewish Voices (Canada).

Firsthand account of Capture at Sea of the Canadian Boat to Gaza
Please join us to hear Ehab Lotayef (a Montreal engineer) and David Heap (a London, ON academic) give their firsthand accounts of the Freedom Waves to Gaza in November, when Irish and Canadian boats tried to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza. Both were on board the Canadian boat, the Tahrir, when it was seized by the Israeli navy in international waters.
Freedom Waves is part of an ongoing global solidarity movement challenging the blockade of Gaza and working for the freedom for Palestine.
When: Sunday March 25, 1 – 3 pm
Where: Steelworkers Hall, 25 Cecil Street, Toronto
Admission: $10 or pay what you can.

There are two locations in downtown Toronto from 5:00 to 6:00 every Friday where you can join NION and other voices against Israel's occupation and apartheid:
the long time Vigil in front of the Israeli Consulate at 180 Bloor St West,
and the ongoing
information picket boycotting Chapters Indigo at the Bay Bloor Indigo,
on Bay St just south of Bloor.
You can find out live what is going on in Toronto, and get leaflets and posters from those at the Vigil and Information picket. Visit us when you can.
